The University of Michigan’s Robin Jacob discusses one of the largest experimental evaluations of professional development for principals ever conducted.

The study, centered on the McREL Balanced Leadership program, assesses impacts on principal leadership, instructional climate, principal efficacy, staff turnover, and student achievement in a sample of rural northern Michigan schools.
